This type of website lends itself to being private such as an employee database for employees to be able to make profiles store company information, view policies, schedules etc. It can also be available to the public for customer loyalty.

Forms created on public facing site are displayed on internal site in google sheets. This method allows the data to be converted into whatever means your business needs. 

These forms are specifically created and are changed to request any information that is needed. 

From this the data can be used for projections, financials, etc.
